to the masses
when the mass appeal
is the liberation
of others
it is ok to deceive all of the people
when you
yourself are above them
when you yourself know what is best for them
it is ok

acting through you like peas in a pod
it is fine and dandy
to kill others when you are afraid
when you fear business loss
when economics weigh in more than human cost
it is ok

sure it is fine to blame others for your fine
it is ok to sit back and relax
to go shopping and know more about what you wear
than to look into what is and where
it is ok
it is ok
to be happy in an apathetic state
to slip in and out with your antidepressant drugs
to fall down and regain again
it is ok to kill
and be killed
as long as it is in the name of the many
and not the few
